The Butterfly Program was very hands-on for my students. The life cycle developed right before their eyes. They were able to see a chrysalis form and a caterpillar emerge from it's chrysalis into a butterfly. It was a wonderful experience!

4-H offers several enrichment opportunities for educators in Davidson County. These hands-on, learning projects include:
Butterfly Program for second grade
Soil Solutions for third grade
Embryology for fourth grade (city and private schools only)
Electricity Program for fourth grade.
All programs provide all of the supplies to the schools for free and are based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
