DSS Board of Directors - General Information

Davidson County Department of Social Services is governed by a five-member, locally appointed Board of Directors - two of the seats are reserved for Davidson County Commissioners.  The DSS Director reports to this Board.

Meeting Information:
The DSS Board of Directors meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except December.  Meetings are open to the public and are held on the second floor of the Davidson County Governmental Center located at 913 Greensboro Street in Lexington. 

Note: Any person who wants to address the DSS Board or who has a disability that requires an accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact the DSS Director, Dale Moorefield, at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting at (336) 242-2562.
