Senior Health Insurance Information Program

S.H.I.I.P. (Senior Health Insurance Information Program) is offered through the NC Insurance Commission and manned by volunteers to help seniors with insurance questions. This can be questions concerning a policy now in effect or on obtaining an insurance for Medicare Part D for prescriptions. |
LEGAL AID
Get free legal aid at the Lexington Senior Center on the first Wednesday of each month at 2pm and the second Monday of each month at the Thomasville Senior Center also at 2pm. Centeral Carolina Legal Services is free to those that are 60 or older. Call Diane Brady at 1-800-951-2257 to make an appointment.
Tax Aid
Free income tax advice and tax form preparation will be available for older adults and limited income persons. AARP Tax-Aide volunteers are trained to complete basic income tax forms.
