Crime scene analysis and investigations have become especially technical and scientific in nature.  The Davidson County Sheriff's Office has four extensively trained technicians that provide specialized skill  to assist the patrol and investigation divisions.  The unit, directed by Lt. Frank Young, provides the Sheriff's Office with specialized photography and videography, fingerprint research and identification, technical assistance, evidence seizure and storage, in addition to training of evidence collection procedures. Lt.
