Capt. Mitch Kepley

The Criminal Investigation Division is a unit of ten specially trained investigators who conduct intensive and in-depth investigations into criminal activity for the purpose of apprehension and prosecution of the persons who committed those crimes. The unit is directed by Capt. Mitch Kepley, who has been employed with the Sheriff's Office since 1996. Prior to his present assignment, Capt. Kepley was supervisor of the School Resource Officers and a certified law enforcement instructor in North Carolina.
